ach year the Society publishes its journal Morgannwg. First published in 1957, the journal has made a major contribution to the understanding and appreciation of  the history of Glamorgan. Each issue contains four or five articles, each   one arising from original research.

Contributors include well-known academic and local historians, all with an in depth knowledge of their subject, and the content of each journal has a wide historical and geographic spread.

In addition to the main articles regular features include short accounts of recent archaeological investigations in the county, news from the Glamorgan Record Office in Cardiff and the West Glamorgan Record Office in Swansea, Book Reviews and Notes & Queries. An index is published every ten years.
