Ogmore Valley Local History & Heritage Society
The Society was formed in 1999 to carry out research into the history of the Ogmore valley, to collect and collate documents, photographs and other historical evidence relating to the Ogmore Valley.
The Society intents to preserve products of these studies in the form of appropriate publications, photographs, and various electronic media.
The published work will be aimed particularly at the school children of the valley.
For the purposes of the Society, the Ogmore Valleyis deemed to include the habitations
of Blackmill, Glynogwr, Lewistown, Nantymoel, Ogmore Vale, Pant-
The Society meets on alternate Wednesday evenings at 7pm. in the Berwyn Centre, Nantymoel.

The Membership of the current committee is as follows :
We welcome any contributions in any form to the research into the History and Heritage of the Valley. The Society has a number of members researching local history and also acts as a focal point for enquiries from the general public, which are received from the genera; public and even from abroad.
Membership currently stands at 65, with members the length and breadth of the UK and across four continents.
